The idea is to match international with local students at the beginning of the semester, and encourage them to meet, laugh, talk, listen, and participate in whatever activities they wish. By doing this, an important information resource is created for both parties; the Buddy Programme Having a buddy is a nice way to get in touch with students that already live in Groningen, they can already tell you a little bit more about the Netherlands and the city of Groningen. Your buddy can introduce you to (student) life in Groningen, give you some tips on how to get to Groningen, what places you need to go to in the city to do groceries, or anything else that you would like to know! Buddy programme. The Buddy Programme of the ESN MUNI Brno is the main reason why the club was established and nowadays is one of its fundamental activities. The programme consists of putting together pairs of Czech/Slovak and exchange students.

The aim is to offer a hand to incoming students in situations when they need it the most, it means after their arrival – when they face the first obstacles in the foreign country. Czech student as a volunteer “Buddy” helps to a partner foreign student with accommodation, necessary documents and papers and tries to make him/her feel good In collaboration with the University of Trento, every year ESN Trento organizes the Tutor-Buddy programme. The project consists in supporting Erasmus students throught the help of local volunteer students.Each year we manage to find an Italian tutori for all the Erasmus students who ask for one. ESN CU provides Buddy Program for all international students coming to study at Comenius University. If you are coming for semester or two, don't hesitate and get a buddy who will help you with your stay in Bratislava!
